Untitled because I'm not feeling creative

Fifth from the left......

would be my little guy. >:0) We were at the groundbreaking ceremony, for the recreation park going up in G'ville. Because this town is so small, baseball is a pretty big deal here. Our fields were really old and run down. This is huge for us. HUGE! So exciting. The property will also become home to one big beautiful library that I am completely thrilled about!

Darrell and I worked in the yard Saturday. While mowing in the back yard, he hit a stick that ended up hitting him in one of his eyes. We flushed it out, and finished the yard. It swelled a bit and looked horrible, though. He wouldn't leave it alone, so I asked him to take a nap. He jumped at that opportunity. How often does a wife ask her hub's to take a nap? Ella joined him, as she usually does when daddy lays down on the couch.

I kept the flash off so I wouldn't wake them.

Backtrack! We ate lunch with Lindsey and Gabriel at school Friday, and we checked them out immediately after to make it to the ceremony on time. We followed each child to his/her classroom. Each of them showed off some stuff that they had done, that had been put on display outside their classrooms. On our way back from Lindsey's class, we passed the art room, and looked at all of the drawings that were put up. There had to be at least 60 pastel colored owls on the wall. They were all so beautiful. This is Lindsey's. (Sorry about the quality. It wouldn't come out any better than this.)

I love it. >:0)

Ending with a good verse.

7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:7-9

Relishing in His goodness...
