Summer's gone

And I've survived it. Gosh, Georgia is hot during the summer. Ugh. Life isn't going exactly well, at the moment. Darrell had a temporary job over the summer, but as I just stated, it was only temporary. Stress is a horrible thing for a girls mind, body, and soul. We live in what I refer to as a "dry city" meaning all of the jobs have been soaked up or simply dried up. It's a bit depressing really. We may have to move to a larger city, and that thought is depressing!

On a flip side, there were some really great times had for us this summer. I had a fabulous time at the beach with my sister during my super sick period (another crazy ulcer attack), and that was much beneficial to my soul. Just the two of us. It was a nice relaxing little break. I read some super fab books, too. I strongly recommend everything Sophie Kinsella has ever written. She knows how to pick a girl up. We had many a picnic in the park. Dinner picnic, of course, because it's just been way too hot for the babes to do it at any other time. I've had some good times with the Lord. I've poured my heart out into my journal. I became a mommy helper to our newest pet, who had three kittens on July 4th! Super precious experience! I've watched fireworks and the amazement on my children's faces while doing so. Awesome treat. I've went to a few cookouts and birthday parties. I swam in the pool with the kids. I created art with them. Sang lots of songs. So many wonderful things. Can't believe how quickly it all went by. Ohhhh, and you know I have soooo many pictures to share!

Thanks for all the e-mails and I'm so sorry I'm a loser friend and haven't replied to any. My box is a little overwhelming. Know that you're appreciated nonetheless.
