Wow

Lindsey is my oldest child. She is an amazing child, although, she has her moments of preteendom (a made up word. Yes, you can use it anytime you like.). She's human. We all have our moments. She does, however, have a tremendously huge heart and loves Christ so very much. When I picked she and Gabriel up from school on Friday, she filled me in on how her day was, and ended with a vent that left me a proud mama. She said that one of her pals started a club that she was calling "The Cupcake Club". Lindsey "joined" the Cupcake club, and they had their first meeting during recess on Friday. Evidently, the club creator decided that they would have to make a pledge to the club by placing their hands on a "club handbook" and reciting a few words of devotion to the club. Lindsey quickly said, "We cannot do that. I'm not going to do that." When asked why she said, "I am a Christian and I can't put my hand on that book and make a pledge to a club that way. That isn't right.". Her friends agreed that they were all Christians and tried to talk her into doing it anyhow, and she walked away and was followed by another little friend. Wow! I hope the Lord continues to use her to plant seeds. :0)

Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right.
