Pilgrims

The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving. ~H.U. Westermayer

How are you celebrating Thanksgiving this year? My two sisters and our families will be joining my mom and step dad at their home this year, along with a rather large spread of food. More than likely, family recipes and smells that take me back to my childhood. While I am thankful for so many things throughout the year, I love the fact that we have this particular holiday to reflect and relish in our blessings. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving season? I love nothing more than blessings being poured out upon people! This year, I am thankful for my husbands employment as well as the employment of the thousands of people who have been hired on at the new Kia plant. I am thankful for Christian fellowship. Having Christian friends constantly surrounding me is always a huge blessing. I am thankful for good health. My own as well as my family's'. I'm thankful for the Lord's will, education, trees, laughter, color, funny messages on my answering machine, warm fuzzy slippers, letters sent via snail mail, music, chocolate, hugs and kisses. My list is extensive. God never stops pouring out the blessings, does He? Even in our darkest hour. His love amazes me. Praying that you're relishing in your abundant blessings this Thanksgiving... and everyday.

Relishing in His goodness...
