Anonymous comments; blessed days of sunshine ahead

When I started my blog a few years ago I really didn't know what I was getting myself into. I had only just found out about blogging, and never thought that my own would be viewed by anyone other than my family and friends. Simply because, well, who am I in a blog world of many? My little family musings are minuscule in relation to the many blog topics out there. While I appreciate the love and support I've found in the blog world (and I assure you, I'm grateful and plenty blessed to have found and to have been found by all of my blog friends), I do have a small gripe. Why leave comments anonymously? It seems pointless...unless, of course, these anonymous folks feel as though what he or she has to "say" is important enough for me to have to know...but knowing who lies behind such important thoughts are not. (sigh) Poohy. Don't hide behind your criticism. I won't bite ya. I'm assuming that since these folks take the time to leave the comment, they'd like it if I took their criticism seriously. :0/ Yeah, I guess I'll have to work on that.

Well, thank you for taking the time to leave the comments anyhow. I'm sorry I am not grateful enough to publish those more negative comments. Praying that you anonymous folks are relishing in His goodness, and enjoy the next blog you visit. :0)

Before I skedaddle, I must "say", the forecast predicts sun tomorrow. Woo hoo! Can you hear me singing? Here comes the sun..doo doo doo comes the sun, and I say, it's alright.

The rain is a blessing, but it'll be delightful to have a nice sunny break. :0)

A little added bonus:
Thanks, Allie, for reminding me of one of my favorite quotes!

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.--Bill Cosby

Relishing in His goodness...

You're such a booger. lol. And another one yesterday. Seems to think I should elaborate more when displaying my children's art work...I'm not working for the Whitney Museum of American Art. How much can I say about their artwork, other than what they tell me about it, and the obvious fact that I love it? tee hee

I can't please em all. :0P

what was that you posted on your FB info page by Bill Cosby: The key to failure is trying please everyone....soo apparently you have failed!..or so anonymous thinks lol BTW: I misspelled anonymous in the first comment...oops :-)

OMW, I am so sorry that you have to deal with that. I think your blog and you are beyond perfect and the artwork....fabulous!

Now for Ma advice...., I believe that "anonymous" is synonymous with "coward" ;) I send all of them to the trash and never read them, I figure if someone isn't willing to leave their identity, then I am not willing to give them credibility....and remember "Your blog, your voice."

Sing it girl!

I got anonymous comments from people I knew that didn't have blogs. However, my dear daughter got PORN advertisements through anonymous comments on her sweet blog!! Dear me! Word verification will likely take care of her problem because it is likely an automated thing but I told her if that didn't work she'd have to exclude her friends that didn't have a blog. Sad the world is messed up like that.

Thank you for sharing that quote!
I needed to hear it. It's especially hard for me to know what to blog and what not to blog, knowing that some of my family reads it that don't share the same views as me...

Not anonymously,

Karyn-Your advise is brilliant. Thank you for adding to the sunshine of this beautiful Sunday. :0) Hugs right back at ya.

Parsley-Yeah, I've gotten some of those weird ads, too. Such a pain. Thank God for the ability to approve comments before they go onto our blogs. :0)

Caroline-tee hee...Love the not anonymously part. I used to be worried about what to post, too. Aside from religion, I think differently than my family on an endless amount of topics. I've found, though, that my family reads my blog but doesn't respond...which is a blessing at times. I had to make this "place" my own. It's a comfort. Thank you, so much, for coming to my blog!

Sweet Pea friend o' mine~

Oh goodness, I hope you're not upset w/ me for commenting anon??? I remember making a comment about your babies' artwork but it was a positively ADORING comment so I hope it wasn't taken the wrong way :( AND I'm such a google dork when I go to post using my google account it won't let me and i'm always afraid of getting kicked off - which happened the other day when i wrote u this very long and prayerful and rambling response to ur request about BB - so I just click the anonymous button when it's time to comment, making sure to sign my name too. Sigh. I hope it's not me you're speaking of, if so I'm soooo very sorry.

Praising God with you on your dryer. I know what a treasure a functioning dryer is to us mama's.

Off to respond to your FB post.

Cassy-No way, silly willy! You always sign your name. I've gotten two comments in the past week...completely anonymous, and critical to boot. I feel a little violated, hence the sensitivity. :0P I always love your comments. They're smile makers...and make me laugh out louder than most people can make me do. :0)

Ah Yes, anonymous posting...what more can be said than what you already pointed out so well?

A big fat waste of everyone's time, and a potential downer when counting your blessings.

God Bless your family. Keep up the beautiful blog-I love a blog that is about what matters.
