Spring Sprang Sprung

The babes were out of school all week for Spring Break. While there were no out-of-town vacations to be had, we did manage to indulge in a little spontaneity.

Not pictured above:Teaching the older ones how to play Rummy and eventually being beaten by both of them, countless hours of badminton, stories written and read aloud, art created, conversations had, no schedules to abide by, meals cooked together and then shared, marshmallows roasted and devoured, and prayers shared and answered.

That's what I call a healthy dose of Spring Break.

Less than two months before Summer break. :0)

Relishing in His goodness...

Ahhhhh....I feel refreshed just reading that! Although I'm having a SERIOUS case of covet over the toes in the sand pic. I was just telling my hubby yesterday how I wanted to run my toes through some sand....we woke up to four inches of snow this morning.....I might just have to make that shot my screen saver :) :)

Love ya!

tee hee. You're such a joy to know.

Four inches of snow? Sheesh kabobs! I think the kiddos and I are going to research Alaskan seasons! It's hot here. Up into the high 80's hot, already. We're going to have a super hot summer.

Toes in the sand courtesy of one gigantic shady cool sandbox at a local park. Talk about scrumptious love to the feet! :0)
