Out of the Mouth of Gabe

Gabriel has always had a tendency to flub up words/sentences (He gets it honestly!). Don't mistake me. I LOVE this about him. It's part of his cute boy charm.

When he was two, he hated riding in the car. After twenty minutes his usual question was "How longs taken?".

For the longest time, at the end of a prayer he'd say, "In heavily name we pray...". :)

Naturally, his vocabulary and memory of such has improved with age...but every once in a while he'll say something that just makes my heart smile, reminding me that he's still my little boy.

Upon picking him up from school yesterday, he excitedly announced "awesome" news to me.

"You are never going to believe it mama! My dream is finally coming true!"

Me: "Really!!! What is it?"

"I get to disinfect an owl pellet tomorrow!!!!"

Oh my sweet boy. I gently corrected him but, at the dinner table last night, he announced to everyone else that he would be disinfecting an owl pellet the next day.:)

I am so thankful for the way that God created all of my children. One day I know that I won't be able to remember the sound of their voices during their youth, but for now I'm going to relish in every bit of what He gives me.

The child must know that he is a miracle, that since the beginning of the world there hasn't been, and until the end of the world there will not be, another child like him. ~Pablo Casals

Relishing in His goodness...
