Today Gabriel (my oldest son) and his love, Karma, are celebrating their one year anniversary as a couple. As a gift to her, he dropped a song that he wrote for her, that began streaming here at midnight on Spotify and Apple Music.
Karma came into his life mere weeks before Darrell and I went into the hospital with covid. After losing Darrell, Karma has been sheer joy and light, for my boy, as he navigated through grief and young adult angst. This song is precious and he makes his mama incredibly proud for more than just his ability to write and perform, but also for his ability to love so well.
I adore these two, together, and am thankful that God put them on each other's paths. Karma has been such a blessing to my boy and our family.
