Summer break (God bless those breaks!) has come to an end and the 2023-2024 school year has commenced! Ella and Jacob are enrolled in virtual school for a fourth year. Jacob is in his first year of middle school, as a sixth grader, and Ella is in her sophomore year of high school. No more elementary school kids, for the first time in a very long time! :(
We're all super thrilled about our 7:00 a.m. alarm setting, again. Ha!
Last night, I asked, "So, what did you guys think about your first day of school?"
Jacob: Boring! Ugh.
Ella: Meh. I've already got a portfolio to complete!
So that sums it up, folks. No backpacks and lunch boxes for my two, but nothing beats schooling clad in pj's with a house full of pets who constantly beg for cuddles! heh.
Here's to another enthusiastic year!
